CEMEX will pave 28,000 m2 of concrete ways for “Usme City of the Future” under turnkey scheme in Colombia

CEMEX in Colombia has been awarded a contract to pave 28,000 m2 for “Usme City of the Future” in the south part of the capital city of Bogota. Usme is an urbanization project that will provide housing solutions for 10,500 families on 70 hectares in its first stage.

Turnkey projects are those in which CEMEX goes beyond providing building materials and participates in the actual construction of different structures. The objective is to build structures of the best quality and giving customers integrated solutions.

Other turnkey projects currently underway in Colombia include decorative red concrete being placed in Bogota and the Helistar Hangar in El Dorado Airport.
